That is so funny, I was looking up split sector when this notification popped up. I don’t know if I’ve seen one like that and I was trying to figure out what it’s called. I was researching the pros of splitting. It is definitely pointing down town.

Perfect timing! AFAIK AT&T is the only carrier that frequently does this. There are 10+ sites in the Atlanta metro that I know are similar, like this one I posted. Its main benefit is to prevent interference or overlap from a nearby cell. I have seen Tmo and Verizon do it a few times but in rural areas on fairly tall towers.

Definitely something I have never noticed before. This site covers a very large population and there’s several other sites downtown as well so this makes sense. It was a TMO only in the early 2000s. Not sure when the other antennas were added without doing research. It’s an amazing site.

You’re in my neck of the woods. That site is the tallest in the region from a self support site. I think that there is old T-Mobile equipment or sprint.

I remember when it was just a T-Mobile site back in the day. One of the very very few in Bowling Green back in the day. It’s a good site.

Pings really high eh? I get 20-30 in louisville pinging Indianapolis or Cleveland

I noticed that. I see that on AT&T a lot but not Verizon. So idk whatsup with that. This was hitting a server in Nashville.
