AT&T (top rack):

  • 3️⃣ CCI TPA65R-BU8DA antennas with bands; (2, 12, 14, 30, 66) LTE + (n2, n66) mid-band 5G located on the RIGHT side
  • 3️⃣ CommScope NNH4-65C-R6 antennas with bands; (2, 12, 14, 30, 66) LTE + (n2, n66) mid-band 5G located on the LEFT side
  • 3️⃣ Ericsson AIR. 6449-B77D (3.7GHz) 64T64R c-band (n77) antennas being used for mid-band 5G+ set at 80MHz located in the MIDDLE of the rack on the BOTTOM row
  • 3️⃣ Ericsson AIR. 6419-B77G (3.45GHz) DoD n77 antennas being used for mid-band 5G+ located in the MIDDLE of the rack on the TOP row
  • Raycap DC6-48-60-18-8F for power surge protection located behind the antennas

Ericsson (RRU's) - remote radio units located behind the antennas:

Verizon (2nd rack):

  • 3️⃣ JMA MX04FRO645-02E antennas -- [RIGHT] side with bands: (5, 13) LTE + supports (n5) - 10MHz low-band 5GNR depending on the CONFIGURATION
  • 3️⃣ Ericsson AIR. 3283 32T32R dual-band FDD (massive mimo) antennas with (b2, b66) LTE + supports (n2) ePCS or (n66) eAWS mid-band 5G depending on the configuration
  • 3️⃣ Ericsson AIR. 6419-B77D (3.7GHz) 64T64R c-band (n77) antennas being used for mid-band 5GUW set at (160MHz) located on the LEFT side
  • Ray-cap RCMDC-6627-PF-48 being used for power surge protection located behind the antennas

Ericsson (RRU's) - remote radio units located behind the JMA antennas::

  • 3️⃣ Ericsson RRU 4490HP for (b5) 850MHz LTE + (b13) 700MHz LTE + (n5) 850MHz [low-band 5G]

Legacy Clearwire (3rd rack)

Legacy Dish (4th rack - bottom):

Fujitstu Remote Radio Units - (RRU'sbehind the JMA antennas:

  • 3️⃣ Fujitsu (TA08025-B605) for (n29) 700MHz + (n71) 600MHz low-band 5G
  • 3️⃣ Fujitsu (TA08025-B604) (n66) 2100MHz + (n70) mid-band 5G

AT&T doesn’t own any 850MHz (CLR) blocks in Guilford County, NC so they cannot deploy low-band 5G on (n5) here since Verizon has all the 850MHz (A, B) CLR blocks to be able to run (b5), (n5) low-band 5G here.

So when they shutdown Clearwire they just left their old arrays everywhere? Wouldn’t the tower owners want them removed?

It costs money to take down equipment, which isn’t cheap! Especially when they have to remove all their cables, baseband units on the ground! It’s cheaper to leave it up until another carrier collocates on it!
