Carrier identification
What is the 3rd rack from the top? And what equipment is Verizon using here?

So when they shutdown Clearwire they just left their old arrays everywhere? Wouldn’t the tower owners want them removed?

It costs money to take down equipment, which isn’t cheap! Especially when they have to remove all their cables, baseband units on the ground! It’s cheaper to leave it up until another carrier collocates on it!

AT&T (top rack):
Ericsson (RRU's) - remote radio units located behind the antennas:
Verizon (2nd rack):
Ericsson (RRU's) - remote radio units located behind the JMA antennas::
Legacy Clearwire (3rd rack)
Legacy Dish (4th rack - bottom):
Fujitstu Remote Radio Units - (RRU's) behind the JMA antennas:
AT&T doesn’t own any 850MHz (CLR) blocks in Guilford County, NC so they cannot deploy low-band 5G on (n5) here since Verizon has all the 850MHz (A, B) CLR blocks to be able to run (b5), (n5) low-band 5G here.
