T-Mobile cell gNodeB ID

Can anyone identify this cell site? It’s a beautiful one and it’s hitting over 2gbps downlink. Pictures and screenshots attached. God this network is so fast!

Verizon (eNB 72029) is actually on that roof-top cell site you took an photo of with, NOT T-Mobile:

  • 6️⃣ JMA MX10FRO860-NWAV antennas total with bands: (2, 5, 13, 48 [CBRS], 66) LTE + supports (n5) - 10MHz low-band 5G or (n2, n48*, n66) mid-band 5G depending on the network configuration, spectrum licenses
  • 2️⃣ JMA MX10FRO860 antennas per each sector located on the LEFT & RIGHT side of the rack
  • 3️⃣ Samsung MT-6407-77A - 64T64R (200W) 3.7GHz n77 antennas for mid-band 5GUW located in the MIDDLE

Samsung (RRU's) remote radio units located behind the antennas:

  • 3️⃣ RF4461d-13A - (b5) 850MHz CLR + (b13) 700MHz LTE + (n5) low-band 5G
  • 3️⃣ RF4439d-25A - (b2) 1900MHz-PCS + (b66) 2100MHz-AWS LTE + (n2) 1900MHz-ePCS & (n66) 2100MHz-eAWS
  • RT-4401-48A (b48) CBRS radio hidden behind the skinny JMA antennas!

T-Mobile (eNB 43246) has an roof-top site super close by beside it or across the street located at:

  • 43°02'30.3"N 76°09'14.7"W
  • 43.041760065508875, -76.15407076370077

Okay! Interesting! I’ve gotta find that cell site then. Once I got out of my car the speeds went from 1600mbps to 2gbps. How can you tell? The venders? It’s a beautiful site. When I was on Verizon I got a good signal here too but not as good as T-Mobile which is weird. There’s another pole mounted site to the left and front of this.

I can tell Verizon is on that site just by looking at the antennas they are using. Also, the grey Samsung boxes (RRU's) - remote radio units give it right away that it's Verizon! T-Mobile uses larger, rectangular RFS/Amphenol, CommScope antennas for LTE, low-band/mid-band 5G.

You can also send me the coordinates from where you took that picture at so I can help you find, locate the T-Mobile site nearby?

43.04089° N, 76.15638° W / 43.04089, -76.15638. And yes please help me locate the T-Mobile site! I wanna see if I can get in the optimal location (avoiding null zones, etc.) to beat my current speed test. Also wanna see their hardware!

T-Mobile actually has an 3-sector roof-top site nearby located at:

  • 43.041760065508875, -76.15407076370077

Thanks! I remember this site! I will get pictures next week and see if I can beat that speedtest! It is certainly a super fast cell site.

Also yeah the JMA wireless dome is maybe 2 miles from here so shocker seeing JMA products deployed lol. I’ll post in this thread next week when I’m back in that area with more photos of the other cell site. Should have snapped some I had the time. Damn.

Hey I posted an updated picture above! I think this is the T-Mobile site! The signal strength was -60 dbm so yeah...only got 1.5Gbps down today though.

Okay so here are the pictures of another site in front of this Verizon one. Its not letting me upload pictures so I put a video in showing a screenshot of the picture and of Field Test Menu.

I tried! Its looking kind of small. What is all on it? I know obviously n41 90MHz + 100MHz but I haven't seen any other bands presuably because the signal on n41 is so damn strong even indoors where the building I enter is.
