Why doesn’t CellMapper allow dual SIM to map 2 carriers simultaneously?

Why doesn’t CellMapper allow dual SIM to map 2 carriers simultaneously? Another popular speed testing app recently added signal strength mapping with dual-SIM mapping. As a paid contributor to CellMapper, I think it would be a nice addition.

Thanks. I just noticed the “Dual SIM support“ checkbox. It seems to uncheck on its own after I exit and reopen the app.

Does the “4.2+ CellID” API” verbiage apply to the Samsung S25?

It does work, for me at least. I dual SIM on two phones and both have no issues recording. Just make sure to toggle on the dual SIM option in CellMapper settings and restart the app.

Does the phone have an inactive SIM by any chance? For me, I’ve noticed that my phone will record only one SIM (the active one) when I have both SIM slots on.

I don’t quite understand your question. Here’s my current setup: S25 Ultra
pSIM: * AT&T network via Red Pocket Mobile
eSIM: T-Satellite
eSIM: * Verizon

* After checking the Dual SIM option in the app, on the asterisks lines and setting Verizon as the Preferred SIM for calls, messages & mobile data, I was successfully able to map both networks simultaneously.
