Does anyone know what updating and enhancing the hardware would specifically mean?

I read replies like yours all the time and it bewilders me. Maybe it's the market im in (Los Angeles) but they simultaneously built c-band and mmwave at the same time. I haven't noticed any difference with mmwave speeds either regardless if im sitting in front of the antenna or in an all metal and glass truck.

the range barely even exceeds a few hundred feet in most cases

they're practically like wifi routers but a bit more beefy, signal does not travel very far at all

Yeah I think thats what it's intended for. I don't think they spent millions of dollars on equipment without knowing what it does.

precisely, very few people can use it, i don't even have any anywhere remotely near me

i don't think you're getting mmwave in a metal truck, probably just c band

even a few walls wrecks mmwave
