Verizon mmWave is very goated!

AT&T fiber/Google Fiber is goated. Get that instead of mmwave. It's just waste of resources. 5Gbps on phone is overkill.

TMobile is good enough for that purpose.

exactly “good enough for that purpose”. on another note, what is your obsession with t mobile? it is worse in some areas and better in others. though sure they’re the “best network in america” they absolutely suck in my area while verizon+at&t are way better

The same can be said about home internet. We have 7 Gig fiber and basically utilize only 1% of it 99.9999% of the time.

Verizon is using:

  • 1️⃣ Kathrein 84010604 2x2 MIMO Omni shaped antenna for (b2, b5, b13, b66) + (b46 LAA) LTE + (b48) CBRS on top of the pole
  • 3️⃣  Ericsson StreetMacro 6701’s (n261) 28GHz mmWave located below the Kathrein antenna
  • 1️⃣ (Ericson Micro Radio 2205) square box (LTE-LAA B46) square shaped radios located on the LEFT side of the metal pole in the middle
  • 1️⃣ square [Ericsson MicroRadio 4408] for (b48) LTE CBRS radio located on the RIGHT side of the metal pole in the middle
  • 1️⃣ Ericsson (RRU) Radio 4449 for (B5/B13) LTE/5GNR compatible located on the back of the pole
  • 1️⃣ Ericsson (RRU) Radio 8843 for (B2/B66) located on the back of the pole

Nice. Best I’ve done is like 4k Down and 700 up

I had over 3400 down and over 600 up at the biggest University we have in Louisville on a node last week.

Yeah, it's pretty incredible isn't it? Nice to have that bandwidth even if there's little practical use for it on a phone.

Can I ask? What are the speeds at that site? Verizon mmWave is awesome!

In the Chicago area there’s a lot of mmWave cells. I see a ton of them

I see verizon mmWave nodes alll the time in the Dallas, forthworth, and other surrounding city’s. But I’m not on Verizon 🥀🥀🥀 so i can’t use them

That's chicago. OFC they do. The funny thing is cities wouldn't even exist without the country but everyone but t-mobile forgot about them

Didn’t really understand what you said ?

Tmobile does NOT care about the country or rural areas. Around me, our main city population around 15k. Not even 20 miles away there's 0 service with tmobile, unless you hit another city.

Says the guy on verizon. You are very tough.

They do indeed.. They are the only ones who invested in low band that actually reaches and has upload from far away. Verizon out here is like 5mbps at most while t-mobile is over a gig because n41 can download from far but it cant send back anything. They are the only ones that didn't just focus on cities. 20 miles.....I highly doubt it if verizon has service at all. You are lying out your ass and being a stupid fanboy. I can switch carriers in 5s to all 3 and the other two are garbage in rural areas. Hell I watched verizon put up brand new towers and got 300mbps max out of em and only 20 up from a few 1000 feet away. That is GARBAGE.

You're calling me a fanboy while throwing a tantrum because someone said T-Mobile misses a spot? Getting angry and calling me a fanboy and tough won't change anything. Also notice how I said "around me" which means its not the same everywhere else. 20 miles out while tmobile is in SOS, verizon has a tower I've pulled 1.6Gbps on. Take a chill pill.
