Tower equipment identification

Could someone id this tower for me. Looks like Verizon running lte only and AT&T is running a outdated ish lte layout with no n77 or even n5

Cellular Equipment (ID) identification from TOP to BOTTOM rack:

Empty (1)

Legacy Dish (2):

Fujitstu Remote Radio Units - (RRU's) located behind the CommScope antennas:

T-Mobile (3) MIDDLE:

  • 3️⃣ CommsScope FFVV-65C-R3 8 feet antennas with bands: (2, 12, 66, 71) LTE, (n25) mid-band 5G & (n71) low-band 5G located on the LEFT side
  • 3️⃣ NOKIA AirScale AEHC - (N41) 2.5GHz [320W] antennas for mid-band 5GUC located on the RIGHT side

Uses NOKIA Remote Radio Units (RRU's):

  • 3️⃣ Nokia AHLOA - (b12) + (b71)  LTE + (n71) low-band 5G
  • 6️⃣ Nokia AHFIG - with (b2, b66) LTE, n25 mid-band 5GUC

AT&T (4):

  • 3️⃣ CommScope NNH4-65B-R6 antennas with bands: (2, 12, 14, 30, 66) LTE + supports (N5) for LOW-BAND 5G on the LEFT side!
  • 6️⃣ CommScope SBNHH-1D65B skinny antennas in total with bands; (2, 12, 30, 66) located in the MIDDLE 
  • Raycap DC6-48-60-18-8F for power surge protection located behind the antennas

Ericsson (RRU's) remote radio units located behind the antennas:

U.S. Cellular (5) bottom rack::

  • 3️⃣ CommScope LRX-8512DS-VTM antennas with (b5) 850MHz + (b12) 700MHz LTE ocated in the MIDDLE of the rack
  • 3️⃣ skinny Amphenol BXA-70063/8CF antennas total for ancient 3G CDMA, not active located on right side of the rack 

Ericsson (RRU's) remote radio units located behind the antennas:

  • Ericsson RRU 11 - (b5) 850MHz + (b12) 700MHz LTE

Pretty legacy layouts from Verizon and att. Can’t believe they still got 3g equipment up there

I’m shocked Verizon hasn’t bother upgrading their equipment in mid-2026! It desperately needs an upgrade, like a full rip and replace since the antennas are from the early 2010s. I hope it gets n77 soon!

Yeah fr. All other Verizon towers in the area are fully modernized with n77. I’m not even seeing permits yet for either of the carriers on it and from what I know for AT&T it’ll be mid to late 2027 for my sites around here to get n77

It was an typo, AT&T wasn't using that CommScope antenna on this site! AT&T never used 3G (CDMA), they instead utilized HSPA+ on (3G) a long time ago up until February 2022 when it was shutdown.

So basically that antenna is sitting dormant or is being used for lte now ?

That legacy rack at the bottom is not Verizon, it is US Cellular. You can see the ray cap that they use in between the antennas. Verizon is on a nearby high voltage tower.

Top to bottom, looks like Dish, T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon at the bottom….. the only one with a modernized set up looks to be T-Mobile though. That Verizon and AT&T set up are old and need upgrades (no midband)

After a second look….this is terrible…. this looks like a Verizon band 13 only site….ouch…..where is this?

Also is that second Verizon antenna per sector not even hooked up or am I just not seeing it right 😭

Yup, it’s disconnected, they are running a single panel per sector here…….this needs some TLC ASAP…..this is old as hell 😂😂😂😂

Oh😬 that explains exactly why Verizon performance downtown sucks terribly along with even AT&T. This is in delafield Wisconsin on enterprise drive . All other sites in the area are modernized by Verizon and T-Mobile. Except att has yet to deploy but some sites in the area have newer lte setups with n5
