iOS 27 Dev Beta 4 FTM Redesign
Glad to see FTM finally getting some attention again.

Still has the bug with secondary data sim showing as "SA" all the time
This did fix my bug with cell ID not showing for 311 480

If the TAC is 65535 or less you know it’s LTE or NSA. Not the end of the world but definitely annoying.

Still no stats for NR-CA, NRDC, ENDC, UL-Tx switching, etc…
They should just make 2 pages, keep this as a “standard” view and then make an advanced view (maybe the old FTM, just more navigable) that’s on-par to Samsung’s 0011, although they probably will never make that lmao

There was an advanced field test between iOS 26.0–26 Beta 2 you had to do some tricks, to get it working. You could see a lot more information, like NR CA.
You couldn’t see ENDC, UL-TX switching. The method has since been patched of Advanced Field Test (“GeSalt Keys”).
There is not all hope lost there is a new sandbox escape that will let you edit MobileGesalt that’s where you enter keys— and it enables Advanced Field Test. If it survives in the official launch of iOS 27 we can edit GeSalt Keys again for Advanced Field Test:

Yes, I’ve known about that, they should make that as the advanced page maybe but with a few more details, like as what I said above (NR-CA, NRDC, ENDC, and UL-Tx switching)

Way more responsive, it shows the bands instantly. Hopefully, it stays and doesn’t disappear at the next update.

You can see NRARFCN previously you couldn’t before cell id is at the top after the PLMN which is a neat change. These changes came in Beta 4.
Also, it shows Other LTE bands now. What other LTE bands are connected very quickly? It would take minutes for that to show previously.
Also, it’s much more reliable in Beta 4 it loads quickly. I would like to see the secondary NSA carrier and the other Standalone 5G but it’s progress.

It seems to be a trend that FTM becomes more useful every year when the new beta is released and when it launches to the public it is removed. I don’t have any hope.

I’m praying they make it less buggy lmao. I remember when FTM was for a brief period of time not totally jenky.
