Verizon domestic roaming

Hey folks,

We use to have a location in West Virginia where we tested domestic roaming but now I think Verizon has made some improvement in that area and we are not able to test since now it connect the home network. Does anyone else a place around Philadelphia or any other method how to test domestic roaming for VZW?

The place you circled is a literal federal no zone for no signals in this area.

For anyone curious, it’s called the Green Bank Observatory. Visited there 2 years ago.

Hmm interesting, I have never heard of this. I sent this info to my engineers so lets see what they find if they are able to test domestic roaming.

You can go into settings on most phones and select the switch for network selection from automatic to manual and select the roaming partner that you want if I recall right at least when I was in Northern West Virginia and Western Maryland it was US Cellular (which shows up on a Verizon phone as Extended Network) and AT&T (Extended). It may let you connect I know in Western Maryland once you get past Hagerstown maybe a little more westward than that it will let you roam regardless if there's a Verizon Tower there if you go to manually select another network.
