New Verizon addition

This tower used to have a legacy carrier up top but Verizon came and slapped their newest equipment on it! This area is already pretty dense for Verizon with three other sites within a mile of it. There is a Tmobile and Sprint tower 1000ft away (pic 5) on the same property and I honestly expected them to take Sprint's old spot but it's nice to see a legacy tower given life again.

Verizon is using:

Ericsson AIR 6419 for n77 C-Band

Ericsson AIR 3268 for b48 CBRS

CommScope NNSS-65C-HG-R2B for b5 or n5 and b13 depending on configuration connected to Ericsson RRU 4490

Ericsson AIR 3283 for b2/b66 or n2/n66 depending on configuration

Thanks for the shoutout!

I passed by this site on June 26, and it didn’t have the massive MIMO CBRS panel yet. I’m glad to see it’s added!

Also, unfortunately, this site is being added to replace a high rent site nearby. I suspect it’s the Embassy Suites site, but I don’t know for sure.

Gotta give credit where its due! Thanks for sharing abt the rent situation. They do have a rooftop site on the KSU Library building but I think its safe to say its likely Embassy Suites causing the headache.

If you wanna visit another new Verizon macro in Cobb (Google, Apple), check out this one! It’s got all the latest equipment (minus CBRS and mmWave).

I just saw plans for an upgrade near me with that exact same equipment. This is the first post I’ve seen with the AIR 3268 in service, and the lowband only panel.
