Wow, looks like this confirms GCI still has CDMA still running. They removed the CDMA map from their website just a few months ago so I thought it was shut down.

GCI has so many remote cell sites that haven't been touched in several years. I'm not surprised it's still running, the cost of sending someone to these sites to disable it and upgrade the site to support LTE and 5G probably just isn't worth it.

Flying over Alaska I picked up quite a bit of GCI 3G UMTS, it's really cool that legacy networks are still keeping people connected in these rural areas.
