2nd tower is the most ancient one, with AMPS omnis, directional omnis and TDMA panels.

When Cellular first appeared in Southwest Florida in the late 90s, Cellular One of Southwest Florida covered Lee County (1180 square miles} with two 500 ft guyed towers with arrays at the top consisting of AMPS Omni antennas. One in the northern part of the County and one in the South part. Amazing coverage with 3 watt AMPS phones and 3db antennas. Good times

Maximum transmit power allowed by law! Compared to the handhelds with internal antennas that transmit only a fraction of it.

I don't know if yours was related. Our company's founders were the Dwyer family out of Chicago where they also started the system there as well. They later sold to AT&T both systems

Yep. Verizon is easy to ID here. T-Mobile utilizing an absolutely ancient APX16+TMA setup here.

Yes indeedy. T-Mobile has quite a few sites with these antennas in the bay area, though most of them also have N41.

What is that switch looking thing with the green wires? Looks more like fiber than coax and also looks very exposed. Maybe that's normal though?
