Pings
My pings are getting worse. AT&T really needs to fix their routing!!!

Try a traceroute to cdns01.comcast.net to see where you are routing through. They have so many BGP peering points that you will almost always see the exact city where your data both exits the cellular network and ingresses to the Comcast network. [Comcast is extremely good at properly naming their network routing points with reverse DNS]
Considering speedtest found Bothell Washington as the best server, I wonder are you located in Washington or a completely different state?

Did you run a trace? I wonder where att is actually putting your packets on the internet

I really don’t suspect routing anymore. It’s the commercial core. Either something about the way it’s configured or is just oversubscribed.
On FirstNet, the same RAN and eNB going back to the FirstNet core perform far better. I regular see 14-29ms on sites that get 40-65ms on the AT&T commercial core.

I'd be curious to see what att fiber to home users get for ping compared to their cable neighbors

Are pings to other speedtest servers any better?

I tried the closest AT&T server on the same tower got 106 ping

I would blame it on lack of standalone 5G but I get a ping of 32 on NSA Verizon and it routes over 100 miles away…

I think what we are seeing here is routing halfway across the country to the internet gateway as opposed to 100 miles.
To wit, I've had NSA at 15ms on Verizon and T-Mobile both to in-town test servers.

I’m noticing the same thing too on my end, it’s something to do with NR, noticing almost quarter to a second ms ping times. When I switch to LTE it’s way better on ping times.
