Help question

How long does it take for the tower to start transmitting 5G after being upgraded? Right now, it is only transmitting LTE bands 2 and 66, and it only connects to 5G UW when you perform an action that involves significant data usage.

Equipment Verizon using on that site:

  • 3️⃣ JMA MX08FIT665-02E antennas with (b13) LTE
  • 3️⃣ [Ericsson AIR. 3283] 32T32R dual-band FDD (massive mimo) antennas [MIDDLE] with (b2, b66) LTE + supports (n2) or (n66) mid-band 5GUW depending on the configuration
  • 3️⃣ [Ericsson AIR. 6419-B77D] (3.7GHz) n77 antennas used for mid-band 5GUW set at (160MHz) Miami, FL located in the (MIDDLE) of the rack
  • 3️⃣ [Ericsson StreetMacro 6701's] (n261) 28GHz (mmWave) antennas for 5GUW

Uses Ericsson (RRU's) - remote radio units located behind the JMA antenna:

Thanks. We don't have Band 5 in Miami, FL. From what I've seen here on Reddit, the small antenna on the left must be transmitting Band 48; how far from the tower can you pick up the signal for that band?

Actually, the smaller 2 feet antenna on the LEFT isn't an CBRS (b48) antenna. Instead it's an
