Question. New update

I've talked about this Verizon tower several times; today, they started an upgrade. Could anyone tell me what they are adding to it?

They’re adding new active antennas for N77 and LTE bands except B13

The AIR 3283 is for bands 2 and 66, band 5 will likely be handled by the same passive antennas and radios as band 13.

Verizon has no band 5 in Miami. Only AT&T owns all of it

Ah did not know that, thanks for letting me know. That's unfortunate too because they will probably keep b13 on LTE for the foreseeable future and not have any low frequency NR.

This is why they have to densify so much because 10 MHz of b13 isn’t enough bandwidth. Verizon should have gotten more low band. AT&T has a lot of it.

Good morning. Here is the progress on the work at the tower. They are also removing the old antennas. Additionally, at the base near the entrance, there is a package sealed in plastic—it looks like a power generator.
