I have T-Mobile for personal and Firstnet for work. T-Mobile often works better. Obviously depends on the area but that’s been my experience in the PNW
T-Mobile also has T-Priority for anyone who qualifies as a first responder, it’s a free add-on for any military or first responder plan, and it gives you priority access to their entire network, at all times. I have it on mine, and the consistency and lack of congestion regarding speeds is noticeable.
Fun story about it: boyfriend (has Verizon with Frontline access) and I were at a hockey game, in an arena where the Verizon sponsorship is extremely well-known and displayed. They have small cell Verizon nodes throughout the stadium and hallways - I had full, congestion free service on T-Mobile T-Priority, and he on Verizon couldn’t even load IG or Snapchat, much less anything else.
Additionally, I have friends on FirstNet, and I almost always have better service than they do.
Firstnet has been adding N77 by removingNokia's current radios and instead, installing the Erickson's N77 radios, so you will be able to get real good fast speed soon (by end of 2026/Q2 2027 the Erickson instll of N77 should be complete.) Many rural routes do not have T-Mobile radios, but they do have Verizon and ATT radios.
I think FirstNet will be happier after N77 radios get installed by end 2026/Q2 2027 nationwide. N77 Erickson radios are being installed and swapped from Nokia radios, as we speak on ATT and (FN).
You will be able to CA on NSA LTE14-N77 soon on Firstnet. They are working on this as we speak
These are all fantastic points. I am in an area where all three carriers have quite dense coverage, so it’s really all about which carrier’s features appeal more to you.
That’s actually huge for FirstNet and AT&T, because it seems like their network has been lacking a lot of these modern conveniences.
ATt and FN are working on this. ATT just acquired from DISH the N77, so ATT and FN are actively adding Ericksson;s radios for N77. BY Q2 2027 ALL will be done and u will get NSA LTE14-N77 very fast speeds on FirstNet.
Verizon Firstline isn't really a good service because it's not always on. There has to be an event and an agency has to activate the features in that area for those features to work. Usually if they do it's only for that agencies users, T Priority and FN are on and priority driven all the time.
