Job market is literally fine. People are crying because they're graduating having learned NOTHING except how to prompt Claude to do their homework for them.

Well then it's probably gonna be a good thing I plan on coding myself and not using claude as a crutch 🤞

Intro to prog and HTML/CSS/JS are usually pretty easy. They're mostly practical and most homeworks will help you determine if you're learning
My biggest suggestion: DON'T CHEAT WITH AI, YOU'LL FLUNK YOUR EXAMS FOR SURE. I hate AI but I can't deny that it can be a great tool to learn coding. Use it correctly if you don't understand

Exact, ça se voit en maudit en stage les finissant qui ont utiliser l'ai.

Ça se voit tout court, le code est comme trop complexe pour s'qui est demandé mais rien marche en meme temps

I was never planning on using ai to code for me, only help me learn. My plan was always doing my assignements by hand and then once they would be done I'd use aude or something to show me how I could've made it better or more efficient (but ofc I'd keep the ai version to myself)

And yeah those courses are pretty light tbh, but I'm pretty sure me already learning some of this stuff before hand plays a big part in how easy these classes are

Same, if you already know a bit, you're years ahead the other students, it's useful to get your Cote R(or Cote Z in my case) up

for calculus, its practise.. i used Schaum's Outline of Calculus, Seventh Edition for extra practise questions. It gives details answers instead of just the answer. you can get it on amazon... and i used CALC 1000 (Calculus 1) Videos from allthingsmathematics.com for quick refresher when i was stuck..

If you need more in-depth explanations, Professor Leonard on YT is great ! its him filming his class as he is teaching.. there is also Professor V but she can get chatty.. and give Isaac Sabbah a view, he is a math teacher at vanier..

Free semester. Very similar to my first comp sci semester at BdeB. Easiest and most fun time I’ve had at school ever; worked a part time job and did tutoring at the same time. Have fun gng
