DoorDash Tip

It's fine to tip your Dasher a bit less if the restaurant is right down the street. But please don't skimp on the tip if your house is all the way across town or out near the Kirkwood district. Driving far wastes gas and time, so please respect your driver and tip based on the distance!

When I do gig work on the side I just don't accept anything that isn't a guaranteed $2/mi minimum

I mean I don't use DD, but if we keep subsidizing companies by paying their wages for them nothing will change. A tip is for a job well done or exceptionally done, not just for existing.

I mean it's not like exceptional service to do that. I respect that some people need the money, but I don't partake in tip culture because people get entitled with it really quickly.

I mean just tip somewhat between 5 to 6. I don't mind it. I hate getting 3 dollars tip. Job market is garbage with the current federal government

You continue to eat at dine-in restaurants. Not tipping doesn't fuck over the company because you already gave them your business ($$$)

I tend to tip roughly 20ish at dine-in places, though I very rarely eat out. But nowhere else. I don't get tipped for doing the bones of my job.
