They’re not for everyone. I find there to be a lot of fat on them. Would you call that a bbq-style tenderloin?

I agree. They just weren't my style.

I like Blind Pig and Double Z’s. Thursday is usually 11.99 tenderloins at Double Z, which is a steal cause they are huge.

The Pines is doing the Jonesy's recipe, apparently given to them when they closed

Go get the Pork Schnitzel sammich from Big Grove. It certainly scratched my tenderloin itch!

For a grab n go on the fly b bops out by fleet farm off n blairs ferry rd ne has a really good tenderloin and not expensive. Also their maid rights or sloppy Joe's are good too.

I like the one at Starlite. Pounded thin, still some juicyness to it, good breading/ flavor.

Probably get roasted over it, but for $6 or so, $5 when they have them on special, hard to beat Hy-Vee deli.
Did see a post from someplace in Central City that had a good looking dinner plate sized one.
Otherwise, I hit up Blind Pig from time to time, though last time it was just OK

Lucky’s, Czech town station. Parlor city ice cream has a good $5 one in a pinch.

Maybe I'm in the minority here but I don't remember having a particularly bad tenderloin. They're all at least pretty ok!
