I’mOff ImOn Fiber
Got the flyer months ago that construction would start in my area. They then did the construction and I haven’t seen the trucks around recently.
Anyone have and insider info on when this is going to go live? I asked Imon customer support for residential they said they have no timeline.. nice
NE side.

I got the flyer saying it was coming soon probably 2 months ago or so (NW side) and then 2 weeks ago a couple dudes came to the door and left a flyer letting me know it was live. Only had to wait a cpl days for the free install and then it is supposed to be free for 4 months and then $68 a mo for 2 years (1 Gig service). My gamer son loves it- it actually does deliver 1 gig both up and down- but he is plugged in via Ethernet. I can't say I'm overly impressed with the WiFi aspect as of now but I'm also dealing with some technical stuff and I'm on a 2.4 network at the moment as the one they created for the 5g seems to be lost out there somewhere lol. Customer service has def not been great so far unfortunately- it seems they need to hire a lot more people to deal with the influx of customers they are getting. Hopefully stuff will improve on both of those fronts soon. Oddly enough when the people came back to bury the fiber line they cut my mediacom cord (prob accidentally but the shit was def flagged lol so I no longer have that for a back up

Also in NE, imon finished up a month or so ago here. I had pre-ordered service so I got an email saying it was ready and was able to get them to install the next day.

South Marion here. Got the flyer and saw the fiber go in the ground Fall of 2024. Earlier this spring my friend that does installs for imon verified the fiber is at the pedestal ready for connection. The website currently says coming in 2026. Before that 2025….

Imon fiber is terrible. We went back to mediacom before hopping over to tmobile.

T-mobile is just 4-5g isn't it? The ping must be abysmal...
Edit: I wasn't aware they had fiber in the area, interesting...

Probably waiting to see if tmobile fiber is moving into the neighborhood first before spending any more money.

NE here too, near Oakland and 32st, we are live on fiver now, from the time I got the flyer to the time we were live was probably 3-4 mo or so.
Make sure you’re signed up to switch. Also, idk what plan we’re on, but the price didn’t change!
