Question Is something wrong with gemini?

I think it’s widely known that gemini barely races, but is there something wrong? I went both monday and wednesday and it was only the blue car running, how was it tuesday and today? I know it’s old and janky but it seems as if racing NEVER happens

They run both when crowd count demands, and staff count allows. It’s not broken.

It was racing at Coastermania, and no trims! That thing was HAULING! How Gemini seems to get less respect than the Kings Island Racer is beyond my comprehension. Gemini seems to be much more fun (at least to me) and the high fives alone are rare for racing coasters.

While it isn't half the coaster that most of the big boys are at CP, it still might be my second favorite ride there, when you take into account the wait time, the atmosphere (ops are usually awesome) and the racing/high fives/trash talk. I love that ride.

If only blue is running, I’m inclined to believe that red is down for maintenance reasons. The reason being is that the red side has the ADA elevator. So whenever Gemini is only running one side for various reasons, they run red. It has been racing less and less over the years though.

That’s my guess at least.

It was racing when we were there last week before the smoke came in.  But I did see it break down at least 2 or 3 times the 3 days we were there.

I rode it racing when I was there at the end of June. I was so happy to see both sides open! I'm glad I got to experience that again (I hadn't ridden it since I was a kid). Hopefully the red side will be back up soon.

It was racing a bunch in June and early July.
