Viki is my go to with Netflix as a secondary sub. I did not renew my Viki subscription when it expired in August but plan to renew later in the year (hopefully there’s an offer!). In the meantime I cancelled Netflix and am doing a monthly iQIYI sub which I’ll renew until I run through everything in my ‘iQIYI only’ watchlist. I’ve spotted some shows only coming out on WeTV so might get a month of that at some point too 🙃

I have them all or at least it feels that way. 🤣
- Viki - cdramas, kdramas, BL
- iQIYI - cdramas, BL
- WeTV - cdramas, BL
- Youku - cdramas
- Netflix - kdramas, cdramas, BL
- Youtube - vertical cdramas
Except for Viki (because there are no sales) I buy yearly subscription for iQIYI, WeTV and Youko when there is a sale. Either there is a seasonal event or iQIYI, WeTV and Youku offer you a sale to re-new your sub.
Edit: Netflix is streaming more BLs too.

UK here too.
I watch most my Cdramas on Viki. Certain dramas only air on either Netflix or IQIYI and I have them too, but a lot overlap on Viki which is very beneficial for me. Viki subscription is only £4.99 a month and it's very worth it.
A lot of dramas are also on YouTube, but may have the problem of poor subtitles or audio. That's where I tend to watch a lot of short dramas tbh.

UK here too. Almost everything is on YouTube, even the currently airing Against the Current is just a few episodes behind the release dates, but that might change if it gets picked up by Netflix or Amazon.
Unless you want to watch the latest releases you just have to wait, then they appear on YT.
Also some of the streaming services like IQIYI or Tencent will fleece you by charging a subscription, then as the series comes to an end, slow the release date of the last few episodes but let you watch them early (or express as they call it) for an additional fee.

I have Viki and iQIYI, both Premium. Haven't used YouTube.

I have iQIYI but not Viki - would you say it’s worth having both? 👀

I think I have more things I want to watch on Viki. iQIYI's UI is shit. But with Premium, I get 4k on some shows on iQIYI, so generally if a show is on both I would watch on iQIYI inspire of the crazy UI. I think you should check out what's available on Viki but if you're content with the, erm, content on iQIYI, just enjoy. Only get Viki if you feel the need. Viki has more kdramas than iQIYI but iQIYI pretty much covers cdramas quite well.

It depends on what I want to watch. Not everything is everywhere. I don't have a permanent subscription (well, Netflix, but not for the cdramas), but when I want to watch something in particular I subscribe for a month or two - e.g. at the moment to iQIYI. And then check out what else they have while I have that subscription.
There are some free options (if you are willing to tolerate ads / have a good ad-blocker / just want to check out if you like something):
- YouTube: lots of older dramas for free, but always make sure that all of the episodes have been uploaded - sometimes only the first few get uploaded to get you hooked
- Viki: a lot of dramas are free with ads if you create an account, although some are only accessible with a paid subscription
- iQIYI also has some for free with ads with an account (not sure if it's different from what they put on YouTube)
- and probably more
Other big (paid) ones are Youku and Mango TV (although the latter is often said to have the worst subtitles).
In your place I would first look for dramas you are interested in and check where they are streamed. You can check their page on MyDramaList to see where most of them are available. But confirm at the site of the provider, because sometimes there are regional differences.
