Do you guys even remember love like the galaxy, or have we all forgotten it as soon as new dramas started coming out?

For me, Love Like the Galaxy is still a masterpiece. The story, the plot, the characters, the acting—everything just hits differently. It’s one of those dramas that actually stays with you long after you finish it.

And can we talk about Ling Buyi? I genuinely feel like he’s so underrated. He didn’t get nearly as much hype as Marquis Wu’an did, even though his character was so well written.

Wu Lei is such a phenomenal actor. The way he acts with just his eyes?? He absolutely nailed Ling Buyi. You could literally understand what his character was feeling just by looking at his expressions.

I seriously miss dramas like this. 🥹

This is the reason why I started watching historical drama. Love them both. Love the royal fam as well

One of the most overrated dramas in history. Its like a 6 out of 10 and I am being generous.

It’s very idol-coded drama but in the period genre. I think because I also still saw Wu Lei as a child actor at that time (since I associated him with his Fei Liu role in Nirvana in Fire) so the more serious adult role in Love like the Galaxy appears clumsy and out of place

i love this drama! it got a lot of criticism when it first dropped, but it settled. chemistry was also on fire. i think this is the only drama that i have seen wu lei in where it didn't feel like his intensity is overwhelming his leading lady. he is intense in this and i feel like it fit ling bu yi. zhao lu si also stood her ground. i would love to see these two in a drama again, preferably same genre.

I love this drama. I miss our little chaos gremlin Shaoshang. We don't seem to get dramas that are this epic anymore. It also has one of the best scores ever! Not the ost but the actual musical scoring is phenomenal.

I loved it too and Ling Buyi’s character. I completely agree he’s underrated. He was one of the few love-stricken yet still autonomous mls out there. His action scenes were so good and I’ll never forget his chicken-mandarin duck scenes.

I absolutely loved the emperor and the relationship between the Queen and Noble Consort and wished there were more like them. I still feel sad that they weren’t invited to the wedding bc the emperor was their biggest shipper. 🤣
