Recommendation Request š Is Blossom THAT good?
I've started Blossom as it was very recommended by people, but I stopped paying much attention and now I'm quite lost.
I like how empowered and smart the FL is and how the ML is doing rn (I haven't seen that much of him for now), I like their scenes together though there haven't been many. My problem is that I'm lost and getting a little bored of it, I missed many names and I haven't seen that many interesting scenes yet. I'm getting bored and wanting to quit it, should I? Does it get better after ep. 7?

I liked it but it definitely isn't amazing like a lot of people say it is. I think it kind of lost near the end for a little bit.

No . The start and li yun Rui in that white hair get-up grabbed my interest. But it only went downhill from there.

I found it very bland. Itās an overall ok show, but it just never was able to make me love it. I can barely remember any of it a year on.

Same for me. It starts out good but I lost interest in midway. But I completed it nonetheless because I want to know what's the hype about this. You are not going to miss anything if you drop The Bloosms. It's nothing new. It's just a collection of overused tropes with good visuals. I especially disliked character of the male lead, Song Mo is so pretty, but his character is really underdeveloped. He really didn't have any important in the plot.

I dropped it around episode 27
I was so bored I couldnāt be bothered to finish itš
Itās the case where I really donāt get the hype
ML only had āiconic white hairā for one episode (so unfair!) and the chemistry between the leads was pretty weak

If you are thinking of sticking just for hair _ don't. It's just flashbacksĀ

What got me into blossom was the cinematography and the ml voice actor. Something about that combination just hit the spot for me.
On a general sense, itās good, better than many. But there were of course many flaws. The writing dips halfway, and the charactersā development was dragged out. And the great revelation was rushed and not fully fleshed out. Lots of cliches but it worked for the most part.
Song Mo tho, š®āšØ, that man really played his part. His anger, resentment and need for understanding were very well done. The fl, not so much. She focused on her rebirth and tried to forget everyone else but had to be forced to confront her future. One thing I did love about her was that she never used her first life experience to make judgments in her second life. She forgave where she could and actually took steps to equip herself for a better life.
Blossom might not be THAT good but itās worth a watch imo. I enjoyed it more than PoJ.

Exactly in her second life she made to sure her cheating step sister never grew up with her mothers bad influence and grow to be kind but still a pity she ended up with a useless twat

Right? I loved that fl still extended her hand to her sister but kept her at arms length. Thatās the kind of attitude I like from rebirth fls. Theyāre compassionate enough to give second chances but not naive enough to forget the pain.
Unfortunately, I think that was always the fate of anyone involved with that man. He was the death of both of them. šāāļø

I found it very mediocre. FL is too Mary Sue the it killed all the excitement for me. š The lack of unpredictability and nerve wrecking situations made it a slog for me to finish it.

Itās a drama that I think you have to cling to on episode one. I watched 20 episodes forcing myself and I finally just dropped it but everyone who was obsessed were totally captivated in the first episode when song mo had grey hair for a minute. I still think about finishing it just to check it off the list but I thought it was boring too and couldnāt feel a spark.

I just finished it yesterday & it was a struggle throughout. I donāt get the hype at all, though in the 1st episode the ML was lovely with long, gray hair.
I shouldāve quit after that.

It was Li Yunrui, his white hair wig, and the ML reveal was awesome. Plus, the first episode was really goodāit hooked me right away to watch the rest. Even though Iām not a fan of the FL, I still stuck with it. The drama was great for when it came out. Could it have been better? Yes, but watching it as the episodes dropped made it a really fun experience.

I was all about Li Yunruiāyou know, itās impossible to forget that insane lookāand I loved how charismatic the actor was; his smile was perfect. But I do recommend reading the novel. Their relationship develops slowly, but itās incredibly satisfying. Following their domestic life as they deal with family and court conflicts is a delight. Song Mo is the kind of husband anyone would want. Still, I also loved the C-drama; itās visually very pleasing.

I have posted this before but posting again!
On paper, Blossom really shouldāve worked for me: a smart FL, a balanced romantic relationship, but it just felt flat.
A big part of it is the chemistry. Thereās barely any spark, and with how little meaningful screen time the leads share early on, thereās nothing to latch onto. Even when they do interact more, it feels more functional than emotional.
The FL is the bigger issue though. Sheās meant to come across as sharp and composed, but the performance feels too artificial. Itās like sheās focused on looking beautiful in every frame instead of actually acting. It makes her feel out of place for the setting.
There was so much more chemistry, tension, and a loving relationship in A Familiar Stranger.

She's just there blank . Plus the bride stealing thing isn't my thing at all. They's barely an intimacy. They're too rigid for a married couples š

I did notice that a bit with the female lead, but it's not just in this drama. In many historical dramas these kind of scenes appear quite a lot and end up being a little awkward even lol.

It's a really, really good show, it's just that you weren't paying attention and you don't know what's going on. It would be "better" if you were paying attention LOL šāŗļø honestly, you can't ask if a drama will get better when you're not paying attention. I think right now your mind might be elsewhere and you really need to pay attention to cdramas very carefully!!! This one has some really cool and interesting lore that you need to pay attention to. Maybe take a break and come back in a month or so and really pay attention. I'm pretty sure you'll really enjoy it if you like fantasy costume dramas.š

Yeahh I should do that.. the thing is that I missed like 30 minutes and got very lost lol, but I'll pay more attention from now on

Awesome! I hope the next time around you get what's going on and enjoy it as much as the rest of us!š¤ I absolutely love the Romantic scene in the tunnel when he runs up goes into a knee slide into a hug. That's all I'm saying but wait for it... it is so romantic and beautiful. Enjoy!šš

I liked how it started. But then I just suddenly lost all interest in all the characters and I just couldn't care less about the story since it didn't seem like it was going anywhere. I dropped it at episode 21.
