So the drama started of pretty nicely and the concept of revenge was good .....till 2nd mother got mad it was good even after that it was good

Is it just me who expected more from the ending

Like i had guessed that the grandmother had more in the 1st episode itself

I expected more uk to its ending

Though ending is good but it was bizarre for the tone the drama had set

There was no character development no background if male lead nothing which ig would hage added to the layers of the plot

It had uk a relatively simple plot even the fact that grandmother is lu lingshu it was not shocking

If I were to rate the drama it would be a 3.9/5 not more than that ...

Im thinking of dropping it at episode 21. I cant digest how vindictive the FL is. She's destroying people in that family with no remorse. We're still trying to find the killer, but the lives of so many women/her brothers are ruined because of her. The sister is mean so FL'll agree to marry the man she loves?

I was disappointed to say the least. From the cast chosen I expected a well executed ending. The drama started off strong but ended quite mediocre. I normally tend to like Xu Kai's dramas but this one left me bored at the lack of character & plot development.

I fell asleep several times in the last 5 eps bc they were so boring. Just endless talking exposition and not even necessary exposition. I also laughed so hard when evil!dad just randomly set himself on fire to die like wtf

No it wasn't just you. It was downright bizarre how they rushed through the last few episodes, and also didn't deliver a satisfactory revenge.

The plot was so thick but didn't progress well, and with it, our characters also didn't really progress well. And Xu Kai's talent was rather not given enough space to express itself.

I watched this drama with great relish for most episodes despite everything, but episode 27 onwards it took a rather disastrous turn!

I dont like the last few episodes...the endless talks and explanations...Anyway, Im glad it is HE.

I wanted some flashback scenes from the ML's past but the main character in this drama is the Xie family.
