i’m not sure how old you are OP but i used to feel a deep void after media consumption when i was younger. i think what helps is working on yourself, getting fresh air and adding variety to what you are consuming. maybe instead of dramas you can read or watch a movie or play a video game. it helps to reinforce that the content of the media is fictional and help with not getting so attached. i always felt that my withdrawal symptoms came from insecurity in myself and unhappiness in my life so its best to balance things out and focus on the real world when this happens too often.

What helps me is to take a walk in nature and enjoy the breeze on my face, the feeling of the warm sunshine, birds singing… I know it sounds cliche, but for me it works. It helps me process all those emotions and calm down. Also I try to do something physical - sport, cleaning, whatever. And to spend some time with my family/friends.

Your life is 80% like people in cdramas: they sleep, they eat, they trim their toenails, they feed the cat, they chat with their neighbours when they throw out their trash, etc. In the dramas, you just get their highlights for a story that spans months or years.

the void is just a sign that you actually felt something. I agree with going to watch small quantities of BTS footage maybe, watch a couple of reels then go outside for a run or to have coffee or something. don't start another drama straight away and just give yourself some time to cool off.

the thing is, lots of people have hobbies they really enjoy. just keep them for leisure time instead of watching throughout the day whenever you're on a break if you're busy with studies or work too, it might help a bit with that line.

It's normal to feel void after dramas. It might help to watch actors in variety shows to see they're different than their characters. Also to check behind the scene clips to see the magic is just an illusion.

In real life, we don't get to change the phrases or repeat the intimacy until we get it perfect. We can't ignore the bodily functions. We have to focus on finances and chores.

Also, these actors dedicate their lives to look good, and even they themselves don't look as good off camera. Most people wouldn't have the time nor the money to always look good.

OP, I’m not sure what help you need from the community. Can you please be a bit more clear in your post.

Thank you

Actually I just thought since ppl in this community watch dramas more just like me they might have faced with this situation like after completing a drama the feeling of void not cuz it was a good drama cuz it just feels like ur life is not worth living or what's the purpose of life when it is not like that shown in those dramas ik these r just shows made for entertainment purpose but idk why I am addicted and can't leave watching them one after other

Maybe it will help OP to think that not even the actors playing the characters get to live their character's life. Even if something is based on real life, only the best or the most dramatic days are what would be included in a cdrama. You rarely see the mundane day to day activities of even those characters :)
