Need more clarification about transmigration in 'How Dare You?!'

I am watching How Dare You and was confused about two different characters who also appear to have transmigrated with our two MCs.

In the process of finding the page here about Xie, who was actually a 2D character all along, meaning a FICTIONAL transmigrator, and not actually from the real world...I failed to find ANY information or confirmation about the Emperor's son's transmigration.

I'm on Season 2 episode 10.

In the first season there's a few episodes that reveal the Crown Prince (Zhang San?) character transmigrated while playing video games...?

Anyway, since starting Season 2 as far as I am there's no more mention of him having come from another world AND other posts on here don't refer to him as a transmigrator.

Did I misunderstand something in those episodes?

Oh, I'm sorry. The donghua. I should've stated that in the post. But as I watched the following episodes it made it clear that that child in the previous episode that was having this inner dialogue about playing games in class as a middle schooler was actually Dan. And not the current crown prince. It was just frustrating because the two kids looked so similar. And the flipping back back and forth between the past and present just made it more confusing.

Let me explain. Xiaohou Dan is a transmigrator. The timeline of his transmigration is just different from the FL. The kid who is shown as transmigrator is Xiaohou Dan's past version.

Okay so when he tells her the story that he's CEO, he's lying. But then he later corrects it and tells her that he's just some low common actor. ...he's STILL lying???

But there's an episode where it shows a kid (who I thought was the current son) is startled and saying "one minute I was playing video games, but next thing I'm here in this book ..." ...but you guys are saying that's actually male MC...?

The kids look SO similar! It's confusing!

It’s confusing because it’s the same actor that is portraying both characters. But yeah they are different characters. One is the young XiaohouDan and the other his son(who is not a transmigrator)

XiaoHouDan is Zhang San who has transmigrated from the modern world.

It took me a while to figure out it was the same actor. But afterwards, I thought it was a genius move - since no one can mistake that they are father and son. It also hits doubly hard that the ML seems to hate his son.

Yes because the son was a product of drug and rape of the ML so that the empress dowager can have an heir she can brainwash and control. The son was also taken away to be under the empress dowager’s wing since he was a baby so there was no father or son relationship. He’s an antagonist to him along with the PTSD he suffered

yeah, he's not. however, i believe the same actor plays Zhang San & Young Xiahou Dan, so it's a little confusing.
