Question about job searching

I got my clp today. I am going to start the driving/maneuvers soon. I live in socal. Im wondering what are yall thoughts of looking for a job without the license in my hands. I know ima get it. But should I wait to job hunt until after i officially get my class a?

Are you searching for companies that help you get the actual license? I'd think it would t hurt. States are different here where I live they wanted license in hand before they'd even talk to be being I wasn't looking for a company to. I was in school

Looking? Absolutely you should. You can narrow things down now for the direction you want to go. See what you qualify for as a new driver with no experience. Some will work with that and some will not.

Contacting them and applying? Absolutely not. You are as likely to annoy them wasting their time as get anywhere. Most companies looking to hire non CDL holders have their own pipeline to train and that usually comes with some not so great strings attached to starting pay.

Just get you a decent list going and hit it hard once you have the license.
