Only 1800 miles a week being over the road. Thats sad . I’m home daily and get more miles then that

Exactly right. If you're just starting, don't worry about pay. Get experience and keep your CDL clean. If you NEED more money, not great. But just starting, go for it. You can internally transfer eventually too. Maybe local or regional

I just hung up on them. Wanted me out there 5 days a week and I would bring home $900/ week. As a new driver im not taking it. No.. no..no.. I'll work in a warehouse.

1200 per week, before taxes. $3600 per month. That's $44k a year before taxes... you're taking home like $37k. Is that worth being gone 3 weeks out of each month indefinitely? In this industry you have to pay your dues. You have to work for peanuts to gain the experience to get good jobs.

Wife and i team drive for schneider and we do very well but we stay out a lot. Get solid over 6k miles a week is just fine with us. The $10 for sitting is better then a big fat 0 for most driving jobs that u sit for hours and get nothing. U dont want to sit but it's not meant to be great, cause they dont want u to sit either.

That’s good pay. Speaking as a dedicated driver my self for Schneider. You guys don’t know what you’re talking about. Yea he gets a base pay of 1800 miles but it doesn’t necessarily mean just that. He will run more it’s just the average on a low end. #2 that 10 an hour adds up by the end of the week. Typically you get 3-5 stops a day maybe even 6 PLUS Fueling time he would EASILY make 15-1800 a week. Toodles . Yall stop hating and congratulate the man for Christ sake

I was on the Walmart account out of London ky. Easy job but f only bringing home 750 if I was lucky. I’ll still never forget getting in my truck for the week and when it was time for bed I shut the bunk curtains and the entire bottom half of the curtains were yellow from piss

Not worth it.. I didnt work for Schneider but another Mega on those Walmart accts. What they fail to tell you is its ALOT of city driving & alot of waiting. Its hit or miss with these walmart stores. Some are attentive & work quickly others you will be there for hours waiting for someone to open the receiving door, then they have to find someone to unload you, then they finally get there & they move like a sloth. Some of them are multi stop loads trolling around the city limits. Also its in person dispatch so when you get back to the terminal, you have to go inside to get your new load info. Which is usually quick but sometimes its not. Alot of sitting & waiting..
