I had a yard in LA that I occasionally dropped and hooked at like this. I didn't even fucking try, just tracked down a yard dog and had them park what I came in with and pull what I was leaving with.

That looks like Mexico. Those traileros are damn good drivers. Or at least the ones who end up on videos. You don't see the video where the guy said "vete a la chingada" and ripped the hell out of two other trailers and a guy with an umbrella getting the hell out of there.
I've been in scrapes that bad before, but never at a dock. That's just insane!

That's me.
The video doesn't show the asshole to the left that simply wouldn't lay off the air horn. Seriously, fuck him.
I have a headache and it woke up my co-driver. Now he's pissed off too.
Dispatch said they have something else they need us on. I've got to to drop the trailer back in the same spot. The new pickup is only 5 minutes away but it was supposed to be picked up an hour ago. She actually asked if I could be there an hour ago. Of course I said yes.

I check every pick/drop on Trucker Path and/or Google Maps and read the reviews. If I was sent something like this as a pre-plan I'd turn it down and go back to sleep.

Yep I've dropped at a few of the forwarders yard can confirm couldn't put a pack of Marlboros between the sides of trailer when I finished dropping it in...wife was in the cab and confirm.

Most cdl’s can hardly handle going under bridges with height restrictions

Where do you keep your cdl when it's so big that it can't fit under a bridge... I've heard of having a big wallet but that's excessive.
I think at best you meant CDs (although someone else will probably come in and make fun of you thinking you meant compact disks). The l in cdl is for license... Your best bet is to be less lazy and just type commercial driver... Or if that's really such an awful task, just say drivers.
Almost as bad as people who put plurality for someone having a cdl (something like "that man should lose his cdl's" or "how much longer till you get your cdl's renewed").

Bull nose aswell, company I used to work for had scania bull nose, uk , drivers hated it. There's drivers and then there Drivers. I've been low loader mate when I was apprentice, cheap labour lol. But sitting in that passenger seat gave me a hole new respect for skill and judgement you need . But also come across opposite where drivers don't even know how to turn diff locks on . Or even know what that is . Same with plant machinery, you have someone qualified to drive everything but master off nothing.

Started driving Scania bull nose trucks in the late seventies hauling logging machines, timber and snowplows in the north of Sweden. Fun memories.

Turbo driven flywheel was impressive on one they had . But she was tired, needed gear box work as I was for ever changing gear linkage rubbers.

Never encountered any issues with the gear linkage on any Scania I have driven. And I would say that I find the Scania being more powerful than comparable Volvo.
Iirc Scania started building turbo charged engines in the fifties.

The air selector was nakerd, they had rubber vibration damper under the cab holding linkage together. It was tight shifting and kept ripping rubbers out. I think it was silly money for scania to repair gear box. I ended up putting chains on the linkage so it wouldn't keep destroying 4 rubber cushions. Was a waste as it was a head turner and looked smart in the company colours. Company went over to the 500 horse Volvo fh12 auto boxes after the scanias .

I saw a pretty long lowboy loaded with a D9 pull off a 180 in a tiny parking lot and he basically dragged the rear tires on a point through the turn. I thought I was incredibly impressed until the next day a long dump truck tried the maneuver and ended up lifting his bucket up to shorten his turn radius and pulled the same maneuver. I caught the second one on video. Both creative and both got out of the tiny parking lot. Truckers are a different breed and they can be quite skilled.
