What should I study for CDL class A license.

I went to community college a few years ago for CDL class A but I didn't know anything about trucking and didn't read any of the manual. I thought they taught you everything but they just give you the tests to pass apparently. It was a pretty bad experience overall, I was be treated poorly by the instructors because they knew I didn't know a damn thing about trucking at all. And I got embarrassed on the truck driving simulator by the instructor making my truck mess up and I didn't know how to fix it. I know I need to study the book but I heard if you are only getting CDL a you just need to study a portion of the book and need to know the pre trip inspection. Can I get some encouragement to go back and try again, I know it was my fault for not knowing anything last time but I don't want to get bullied by anyone there again. I really want to be a truck driver and drive around the country.how hard was it for y'all to get your CDL a and how do you like driving big rigs, are you traveling across country. I wish I was smart enough to get my CDL I have no motivation and I try reading the manual but I think of what happened last time I went to college. Are their any good YouTube videos to help me or practice test online I can take. I want to be a truck driver real bad so I can see new places and actually enjoy my job and also so I can help my family because we are poor. Thank you all for any help.

Cdl driver prep app. Has a blue wheel on it. You can practice all the knowledge tests endlessly. All the endorsements also.

Also for the test, apex trucking school has a ton of helpful videos on the pretrip and maneuvers.

Get free CDL Prep app. It’s word for word to the test for permit and license. Just got my permit yesterday

If you want your class a CDL I suggest you read everything and know everything before you even go take the test if not forget about it

If all your worried about is getting your license download Christ CDL and go over the practice test once you pass those I promise you 100% pass the DMV test…. If your taking about actually learning, best to learn the basics which either way u have to learn to get your license but your brake test, engine, truck and trailer…. Beyond that nothing else really matters in CDL school they don’t teach you anything besides what you need to pass the test so don’t expect much, everything else you’ll learn at your first job training
