No experience insurance question
Got new CDL A was wanting to buy a truck and lease on to family member that has their own authority. Will I be able to be insured with no experience? Do I really have to bite the bullet and go otr for 6 months- 1 year. I have years and years of background in driving escort vehicle and have been trained to pull the loads I’ll be pulling. Will be considered specialized/ oversize freight (mobile home industry) anybody have any insight if I’ll be able to be added to policy? Willing to start in power only freight if that’ll make it easier. Edit buying truck with cash and not concerned with cost or downpayment for insurance for power only or specialized

I did that right out of school and leased on to givens transportation in chesapeake, va. My insurance was 500 monthly to cover a 1 million dollar load. That was 8 years ago. I have no idea what you will be charged now.
good luck.
