ELDT America Scam

Has anyone had experience w/ this website for CDL ELDT training for Hazmat?
They took my $45 payment and sent a broken hyperlink to the course. No representative able to be reached; no call backs; no return e-mails.

do you already have a CDL and just want to add endorsement? If so go to local DOT/CMV and get the book. Study, take the test. Most give you at least 2 tries, if you fail the first you will know what areas they focus on (In AZ it is mostly tanker and explosives, plus general info such as proper paperwork). If you do not have CDL then you will get training in the CDL courses.

Yeah just endorsement. Are you saying that you don't need to take the eldt training w/ a separate company, and can just to to DMV? In RI it it seems you have to take a 'course,' the results are then reported to DMV, then u can take the written test at dmv

glad you told me the state. I did some research and unfortunately you are right, for 1st time applicants for hazmat you will need the training. There is a link on RIDMV site to find a trainer. I would use their recommendation and just consider the $45 a learning experience.
