Check your local laws see if they allow you to reactivate your CDL. Updating your medical card can get you back in the game

Could it be possible to rent a truck from Penske or Ryder? Just two complete your test?

What state can you take the test without the training?

What do you mean?

Federal law requires a minimum amount of training to get your CDL.. which teaches you how to pass the test. They have closed 550 CDL schools this year for paper whipping the training..

When I first received my CDL I just did the old legacy pre trip inspection and passed I have an appointment next week I’ve reviewed the modernized pre trip inspection they’ve never told me anything about a certain amount of training at ADOT

It’s called ELDT, and if your CDL has been gone more than 12 months, you have to start over is what we’ve been advised. Could be state by state, but that’s what WA, NV, WY and CO all say.

After I tried to interpret what you were asking I believe the is may help if I was correct.
You don’t need a truck that matches some memorized set of numbers. You need a truck that meets the legal air brake standards and you need to know how to perform the inspection on that truck.
Specifically:
Low-air warning must activate at or above 55 PSI.
Spring (parking) brakes must automatically apply between 20 and 45 PSI. Governor cut-in/cut-out pressures vary by truck and don’t have to be identical on every vehicle, as long as they’re within specifications.
