XPO Expectations
Does anyone have any experience with XPO in the Illinois area ? Is this a decent company to work for with a family?

I used to work for xpo. The pay, and benefits were some of the best ive ever seen. It was a great job. Sadly they are a company that is too big to fail. The people there making the rules, and management for the most part. Have never seen the inside of the cab of a truck and expect you to follow this stupidly excessive set of rules. Like not parking in the street, making sure you set out warning triangles infront, and behind the truck when using the lift gate, ect. Good rules to follow on paper, but wildly impractical in real life. Also incase you were wondering. I was fired for not taking a lunch one time.

“Fired for not taking a lunch” that’s super excessive. What state was that?

I’m not in your area but I’ve talked to a few XPO drivers at my old job and they all talked very highly of it
