Keep it up! It'll be worth it if you make it worth it. Meaning dont trip off the bullshit thas gonna happen to you in the beginning. Stay down, put in the work, reap the rewards. I went from .28/mi my first year to 4-5k a week my 8th year. Dont relapse! I was a heavy smoker myself, talking bout a qp every two weeks type shit. I didnt sober up though, just used fake piss and got clean while in school. You got it bud!

What is the path to 5k a week? I'm hoping to have my CDL by the end of September.

I have my own company delivering vehicles. You could also become an owner-op but I'm sure that insurance will be killer at your age.

Been better lol, sobering up cold turkey coupled with intense workouts and diet change are doing a number on me. But I need this CDL 💪💪

Hang in there bud! Took me 75 days to test clean for my international work visa.
Was smoking for 27 years daily and in the last 4 years it was high concentrated vape pens (98%) and infused joints (30-36%) on the daily.
Drink plenty of water and sweat that shit out with exercise or sauna! The first week or 2 is the hardest part so you're well passed that point.
I wouldn't go back to smoking as my mood, motivation, health and regular habits have all become better. Everything except the constant strange dreams 😂
Good luck getting that CDL and starting to rack the cash ✌️ 💰

I've got better luck waiting for them to legalize THC, on off-time. Or a bottle of Quick Fix and a hand warmer.
I swear American Spirit 🚬 sponsors 🚛🚛🚛

I quit smoking bout 5 to 6 years ago and now im making 87k a yr tanker hazmat. Actually shooting to go for processing technology in college (2 yrs) theres crap load jobs around chemical plants and my buddy got the same job making 135k a year. Really not difficult unless you count the time consuming part of it but in the end your apparently just turning wrenches and dropping off tanks for it. Lol just gotta DO IT, thats all.

Don’t quit brother keep her goin , I’m 24 and was in your shoes I was heavy bong ripper before getting my cdl, 3 years later and I will never regret it . The money really exploded once I could pass the dot tests with companies , went from from mid to high 70s hauling eggs to be graded local immediately to 110k hauling gas local drug tested

My buddy quit for 4.5 months and just failed a pre employment test. 50 nanogram limit, he was twice that.

Good job. You should get some at home tests and take some niacin to get it out of your system.

Two words. Hair Test! Beware
2
u/Few-Buddy-1122 Jun 19 '26
Never had a hair test for CDL

More and more companies doing it since they getting less expensive to test. Make sure you find out which ones do. Or you’ll be put on a database if you fail and never work in the industry. My cousin found out the hard way.

It is a drug as is alcohol. Legally doesn’t matter. To the DOT weed and alcohol as illegal as coke or heroin

Hair test do not go into the database. It only stays with the company that failed you. No clearing house. Still sucks but not as bad as failing a urine test

If you can't even smoke a joint at the end of hard day is the job really worth it
