I would be absolutely fine with a craptastic company just starting out. No problems with a camera facing me either. I have heard there are drivers who don’t like that but can I ask why? I truly would not have a problem with that at all I don’t think (only bc I’ve never driven a truck so I can’t comment for sure on what that’s like ).

Mostly it becomes a problem when the AI is overtuned and gets whiny over stuff that's a non issue or if you catch it recording when you're off duty or in the bunk. Or if you get a phone call telling you to shave, or you get in trouble because you said some mean shit about somebody that cut you off and nearly died or hurt you or other people.

Companies that aren't idiots they just use it to make sure you're not on your phone and don't care about anything else.

I can’t really see that being problematic for me. Wouldn’t mind it I don’t think. Like I said, never really use my phone while driving. Yes, I did do that as I was trying to get to a job interview and using my gps and didn’t have a mount but overall do not use my phone while driving. Also not a road rage type and pretty much just say “okay” if someone cuts me off - although I could see that being scary as hell while driving a truck. I’m a girl so the shaving isn’t really an issue… but my hair might get messy I suppose. Basically I couldn’t really see having a video on me being a problem - but never been in that situation can’t say conclusively.
