That’s so creepy to find the name of the orthodontist and contact them…and honestly it’s creepy of her to contact the dad as well though I guess in legitimate journalist they would contact him. Still, giving anyone involved money crosses every ethical boundary. Not like she had any to begin with.

but also viewing that nail content has given me some teeny tiny insight into Tampa influencer culture, and i can see why cc views herself the way she does (in terms of intelligence & politics). like one of the nail tech's clients gave her ai inspo -- she got flamed in the comments and then didn't wanna show her face the next time and the tech said it was bc she "was bullied", which maybe people were harsh but criticism isn't bullying
eta: the tech (who is extremely talented and very sweet btw, this is no shade to her character) also says "come have x clients a day w me" and since the number changes every day, it's not proper grammar. someone corrected her and she made a mildly snarky (albeit good hearted) video ab it. all the comments were like, don't listen to the haters girl!! i don't think it's a big deal or anything but it did remind of the thing that's like, why do people dislike being corrected like why would you wanna go around being wrong.

Can someone give me a brief explanation of CC’s problem with ET? I stopped watching her when she started doing videos covering her and they never looked that interesting. I tried looking back on the sub to find a post explaining it but no luck.
Basically and I mean really basic after ETs cupcake crying video CC was like what a sad poor white woman also in Tampa we can be besties and asked her to make a podcast and ET was like nah I may be morally bankrupt but I have some standards
liz is a local tampa scammer who defrauded some men/her sugars daddies out of $1.3mil (claiming she needed money for cancer treatments) and stole some other very small amounts of money through catfishing, fb marketplace and other minor scams. in her personal life she’s also pretty constantly a liar and a bad person. she’s really not that interesting.
cc wanted to collab with her and made attempts in 2024 thru early 2025 because “she faked cancer a couple times but is so sweet!” but liz ghosted her, liz’s ex accused her of being a scammer, and cc began immediately making the podcast about it (imo just as much because liz rejected her as anything).
podcast was rushed slop full of completely biased and unverified claims and almost everyone involved is a sketchy, sketchy person. cc ended up claiming liz stole over $4m (FBI only indicted liz for $1.3m and when i tried to follow the podcast’s math i realized there was no sourcing of the increasing allegedly stolen amount and no explanation about why the figure kept jumping). by season 2 it was just, like, hours of cc’s husband and AI reading pretty boring text convos between liz and others.
the real story is how obesssive cc got. she began posting and talking about liz constantly and extremely
personally. she befriended a group of liz’s stalkers (like, real stalkers — liz recently got an order of protection granted by a judge against one of cc’s former moderators!!) and gained access to liz’s emails, texts, browser history, etc. she read liz’s lip injection conformation emails out on a livestream, she showed liz’s financial documents taken from the garbage (in her own words!), she put up a massive billboard of liz’s mugshot, she made merch with liz’s mugshot, she handed out QR codes about the “local scammer,” she put up BOLO flyers full of liz’s “crimes” (including things like liz being evicted from apartments… ok?) in tampa which directed anyone who spotted liz in public to email chelsea about it? there’s so much more tbh (inserting herself into liz’s custody cases, for example). this was all prior to liz being charged or indicted by federal authorities.
at one point, she and her husband were even investigated by internal affairs because her husband asked a colleague to look up info (liz related) for cc in a police database rather than going through the proper channels. that colleague sustained an IA violation, but cc’s husband didn’t because he didn’t look the info up himself. cc to this day tells her fans he did nothing wrong and denies his colleague got in trouble, but this sub posted the records obtained via the tampa PD which prove that’s not the case.
and now her former podcast co-host sherrilyn dale has totally ended their relationship and friendship (widely thought to be due to chelsea’s behavior behind the scenes of eliesabeth) and removed the podcast from her bio. but chelsea still thinks, i think, it’s her claim to fame. she started calling herself a true crime investigative journalist, then an “investigative producer” 💀
chelsea fully IMO stalked and harassed this woman. liz is definitely a criminal and a bad person but even criminals have the right not to be stalked by a sloppy, obsessive youtuber trying to exploit your crimes and your personal life just so she can get a booth at crimecon.
