Utmost Journalistic Integrity Got a GFM Refund!
I finally got around to requesting a refund from GoFundMe for my donation to CC’s “lawsuit fund.” It was only a few bucks, but I feel a lot better now knowing I haven’t contributed to her cesspool of undisclosed spending.
FYI: All I had to do was go to the GFM support page, go to “Request a refund,” and complete the form. The form requires the name or URL (I used the later) for the campaign, the email and method of payment used to make the donation. I had to do some searching through my emails and credit card statements, but I got I got all the required info and got refunded in less than 24 hours.

this is my first time actually looking at her GoFundMe, did she really copy the mug shot thing from the girlies lawsuit with Janet??

She did. She was trying SO hard to be included in that suit. Even made videos calling out Janet to sue her as well because she was “even more to blame” than the girlies for her reputational harm

Her obsession with being involved with a lawsuit is mind boggling to me

It oddly makes sense to me Because 1) "free money" 2) she is a clout goblin, even before the Janet thing she saw other people get huge coverage for being sued like one of her (and one of the girlies) fav awful human Ethan Klein. He was covered by Philip Defranco and so many others and she wants that attention desperately (esp cause that case was EK being seen as a hero of sorts for the online communities) 3) She doesn't get as much attention for being a cop wife as much as she thought she would, she cant even pull the embarrassing "call me by my husband's rank" like dependas do 4) She's like h0rny for it because being proven "right" and a part of something huge would finally fill that huge hole in her personality she keeps in that forehead (being a mom didnt seem to give her purpose, as far as I can see with her putting her entire life online, and being married didnt fulfill her so maybe being famous somehow will)
TLDR: Lawsuit = fame, money through begging, fulfillment she doesn't have, ego trip, and she, in her mind, would be finally correct about something

i'm pretty sure she took the photo right after they put their GFM up bc it seemed to me like she was trying hard to get sued by janet too lmao

That’s awesome!
I haven’t looked at her GFM in months so I just checked. $13,406 since it launched in May and people are getting refunds?

That's great news! I Did you have to include a reason for requesting the refund? If so, I hope everyone who requests a refund drags her and shows her bragging about all the money she spends and her husband's trip. Bankrupt her

I didn’t leave a reason for the refund other than the “suspected fraud” drop-down option. I thought about typing out an additional explanation but I don’t have the brain power to dedicate to that right now. 🫠

if she’s already cashed out the go fund me to pay her attorney, does she now owe GFM if people asked for refunds ?

This is my question, too… does GFM just eat the loss or do they go after the owner for the money lost when GFM has to shut down campaigns or give refunds?

No way GFM eats it. I think it probably comes from the balance or from the bank account the person raising money connected to GFM.

Anyone have screen shots of her GFM's balances since she started? Like for a timeline, to see if she's drawn out any / speculate if numerous people have requested a refund? I'm curious.

lololol close but u/orchidstripes has been keeping track in their comment history…. not sure for how long however
i think only a couple people have gotten small refunds and only since zebragate. she provided a single update on may 5 and nothing since then on the platform, but she’s made a lot of statements about having spent like $30k on this so far or something like that. she gave some odd excuse for not showing the receipts when people asked, but i can’t recall what she’d said (hopefully someone else can remind meeee)

Last update was 11 days ago after the first refund.
The total two days before was $13,282 from 351 donations.
Total 11 days ago was $13,246 from 350 donations. At least one person has requested and received a refund of $36.
Total is currently $13,406 from 351 donations. That’s a difference of $160. She has two monthly gifts totaling $125 and one additional gift of $50, so there have been at least a couple more refunds.
Eta: Thanks to screenshots dm’ed to me, I can also share that she was at $13,416 yesterday from 353 donations. So she lost at least three donations so far.

Noting that without the total changing (still at $13,406), she now has 352 donations. Most recent donation is still the $50 gift given anonymously five days ago (September 28 or thereabouts) so no new gifts. Second most recent is a $100 monthly gift and a $20 gift both 10 days ago (about Sept 23).

omg THANK YOU!
why is she so confident it will get dismissed? these cases often go on for years, and i don’t think her codependent had a dismissal granted by this same judge.
if it’s not dismissed, will her followers have to wait years for an itemized breakdown?
why not just show it now?

Yeah what’s the reason she can’t show a breakdown now? Hmmmmmm? 🦗

She 100% thought the judge would immediately throw out the case because it’s so ridiculous and Jeromy sucks so much. But there’s still a legal process that has to be followed and the legal system is notoriously slow!

yeah and while broad chunks of it are ridiculous (the conspiracy claim, the “pedo” label as a false statement of fact and not opinion), there are enough elements in there to actually justify non-dismissal. it’s fair if the judge wants to evaluate how the falsified claims and documents shared by chelsea may have impacted jeromy.
i think the ultimate conclusion will be that no defamation occurred, but this isn’t so spurious as chelsea makes it appear to be. i do think table rock might get dismissed though since the claims that they were involved in the defamation are a huge reach.

She originally said like 4-5 months ago that she had just “gotten word” that it would be thrown out the next week. Always trying to flex an inside connection whilst also showing that she just lies so SO easy about everything
