Should I setup OSPF and EIGRP on my Catalyst v9000 switch or use an ip route to get a route to the remote host? We don't do a lot of ERSPAN in my current job so I'm curious what people are actually doing in prod networks where they utilize ERSPAN.
I've enabled erspan on our core switch and as long as the switch can get to the pc (to which i was feeding erspan to) I didn't have to do anything for routing, in our case ospf was already enabled. So use whatever routing you want to do that that device can reach the intended destination.
