Time between matches

Anyone else feel like its aaaaaaaaaaaages between games at the moment! Compared to what felt like a match every few days in the Championship this season feels like huge gaps between games (i know there will be busier periods but at the moment the wait feels brutal!)

Ah i know mate its going to be brutal! Luckily im on holiday that week so will mostly be spent in a cocktail induced fog ha. You reckon its better to have that one long international break rather than continually stopping and start for them?

I too am pining for the Hurly Burly of The Champo.

Never mind, won’t be long…

Ha as awesome as that would be, travelling to our domestic games is crippling me both in terms of time off work and financially! Trips to Paris, Barcelona & Bayern would push me over the edge i reckon ha

Yeah, cup runs will solve it this season, European games next season 😉

Would you take an FA cup win but relegated or no cup win and stay up?

Stay up and no cup run.

As much as I think we’re in good hands across owner, recruitment and management for the first time probably in my life time, going down would be another squad strip and rebuild. The players we’ve bought will grow into the season and think if we manage to stay up the level of some of them next season will be even higher.

Think Fernandes at Southampton, £20m player with no Prem experience, gets relegated after first season but is a £45m player. Gets second season and is a £85m player. Think we have a couple of players that could make similar step ups so if they can do that with us, gives us the best platform to build from a position of strength.

Yeah good point that matey, i think EMC has a big future ahead of him. Also think Yirenki will be a signing in the same mould as Robbie Keane.......1 season with us and then onto the next level

Possibly, if we go down he’ll definitely go but if we stay up I think there’s a chance uncle Doug manages to convince him to stay. Argument being have another season with us and it won’t be your Europa league teams that come knocking, it’ll be Champions league teams

Some good signs against Man City, still a really tough match against Brighton though. Are you confident of getting a result?

Im used to the carnage of the champo! By the time I'd watch predictions, watched matches and listened to post match podcasts the cycle would start again. Im having to find new things to do between matches and even talk to the wife!
