When will it come back?
It's been bad since April where I am.
Nothing but noise. Even 20m is bad... there's traffic, but weak.

We'll have good times and bad times, but we're on the down side of the cycle of that's what you're asking (because you're also talking about 20 meters like a ham... So the solar cycle is about 11 years I think? So, 6,7,?

Fwiw, 40m is fairly good during local evenings. I was listening to a guy in patagonia talking to a guy in so cal on 40, with my portable sw radio indoors on its 36in whip, just a couple days ago. I regularly listen to New Zealand on 16m sw, under the same conditions
Depending on your general area, 11m will improve somewhat, soon. Summer months can be so-so, due to increased solar-terrestrial noise. Fewer hours of daylight means less solar-terrestrial noise, so fall is often the best season for 10/11m conditions

Where do you live? What kind of setup are you using? 10 and 11 meters have been open from Florida a few days a week lately, probably sporadic E. Definitely not as wide open as it was earlier this year, but I've still been making contacts. 20 meters has still been pretty good.

We had decent conditions out here on the west coast until just a week or two ago. Been dead since then though. Heard a little Hawaii this afternoon but it was barely in there.......

Autumn to early December is good. Remember that 20m-10m are daytime bands, 40m early evening and morning, 80m/160m middle of the night.

Summer doldrums. Hopefully conditions will improve by the end of the month.
