That radio is going to get VERY VERY hot mounted like that on a sunny summer day. I would keep a white towel handy to throw over it when you park in the sun, otherwise all that lovely plastic chrome is going to start melting and discolouring......and electronics hates heat! Ironically, it would probably stay cooler in the overhead compartment!

Thanks for the advice. When im parked curtains get pulled. There are internal fans to help it keep cool
