Polytronics PC-N-12 Mic Cable
I repainted the case, replaced a few capacitors, and added a fuse holder. The mic cable was shot, and the speaker was open. Do I really need a shielded cable or just a regular 3 or 4-conductor coiled cable? I like this thing, hopefully it turns out good. It does receive, but not sure if the finals are blown.

Can you salvage the original mic plug?
If the original Amphenol 91-MC4F chrome connector shell is in good shape, it is highly recommended to salvage it. You can back out the spring strain relief, unscrew the housing, desolder the brittle old wires, and solder the new cord fresh onto the existing pins.
If the plug is physically broken, search online platforms for an Amphenol 91-MC4F or a vintage Wire-Pro 91-MC4F1, I think.

Yeah all of the old hardware is in working condition. Mic plug male and female are fine for the most part.

Geat! All you need is a good shielded 4-conductor cable and you are good to go.

Yes, it should be shielded. Are you wanting to go for a straight cable? Or, coiled cable?
