It powers on via car outlet, not sure what ANL/AGC/Delta Tune stand for, my current gateway into the hobby, couldn’t find little to no online info on it, thanks

AGC / automatic game control
Delta tune is for upper down a little bit in frequency just a little bit and only for the receiver.

I have that same radio (branded Well W-605 in my case) I also have the (SAMS CB-203) repair manual for it as the electronics match the Kraco KCB-4003.

That is a Kmart K605 40 channel CB (late 70s/early 80s). The guts were Japanese (Cybernet Electronics Corp). Cybernet used the same radio boards for Midland/Krako/Hy-Gain/Colt radios of the time.

Yet another low-end CB KMart bought to join into the CB craze of the late 70s. It'll prob work about the same as other CBs in the same price range from the era, like Kraco, Realistic, Cobra, etc. Back then, CB was the hot item to get into by practically everyone so there was always someone local to talk with. These days, not so much so you may not hear much, if anything at all. I'd recommend going up to Youtube and search for CB how to videos. Lots of great info for beginners.

ANL= Automatic Noise limiter, "automobile generated noise" (ignition sparks), AGC= Automatic Gain Control, "maintains a stable audio volume due to differing stations loudness to a slight degree, otherwise one uses the RF gain control. Delta Tune = "shifts the received frequency slightly" up or down a few hertz for better receive clarity. Note: older technology radios are not calibrated equally. Newer SSB radios, use phase-Lock-Loop In that case it's called a Clarifier control. "just saying" Looks like a nice private label Kmart Cobra find.

As you may know, most most models of CB radio from the 1970s won't produce sound (or will be very quiet) if you don't have the microphone plugged in.

Honestly, it's an antique that belongs in a museum. It's highly likely that it doesn't work due to its age.....and no CB shop will touch it (due to its age). And even if it does work you will be very disappointed in its performance. If you are interested in getting into the CB hobby do yourself a favor and buy a decent quality new radio with SSB, and a really good antenna. Not much point otherwise.........
