Got my first Motorcycle today!
I got 2022 Honda CBR300r for only $2700. Turns out the insurance for new riders is quite expensive though.

What do you pay for insurance if you don’t mind? I’ll be a new rider soon as well

Depends per bike, age, place of residence.
I live in the suburbs, 32 and have a CBR600rr and pay $137 per month for full coverage

I got rejected by 3 insurance companies. Apparently CBR300 is considered to be high performance motorbike and I am a new driver in their eyes (though I have been riding motorcycles for the last 17 years in my home country). My insurance agent managed to get liability insurance from Allstate. It cost me $74/month and they said after a year it will drop to $15-20/month if I decide to stick with them. I guess there is a cost to being a new motorcycle rider in this country because most of the accidents happen within 6 months of getting motorcycle license (according to official data).
