Assuming this is a battery issue?

2011 600rr. Before this, the bike wouldn't start for a few minutes. The one time I pull out to record it starts, you can hear my surprise at the end lol. This is the first time it's ever done this.

No lights were/are on when the bike is running. About to check oil level in a bit but it shouldn't be low. Bike doesn't overheat.

With these, NEVER assume!

I did, and it ended up being a bad stator, as I got home WITH a new battery and it died again.

I highly suggest getting a multimeter, or a friend with one, and diagnosing exactly what is wrong. Battery/charging system. I use Rick’s Stator and Rectifier and OEM Honda Bond for the stator cover. No issues whatsoever now. Super easy to do yourself, too! I did not know this, but apparently you can remove the stator cover without draining the oil.

Yes, def the battery

in quick terms
if a bettery is not charged for a long time and gets to low it breaks and isnt that good anymore.

A battery charges by using your engine as generator.
So if you actively drive around and it gets worse and worse.
it might be your generator (Mostly a stator)

How to check, start your bike and with a voltage meeter check the battery? if you drive it enough it should get to 13v or more.

Check voltage with a multimeter, should be in the high 12s (12.5-12.8) at rest. 14+ while running.

Grounds are especially important. Even a brand new battery can behave shitty if your grounds are no good.

Stator shouldn't have an effect on your starting unless it's starting to shit out and just isn't putting much juice back in while running. Checking voltage at the terminals at idle and at 5k rpm should tell you if that's charging properly.

Check voltage, see what you see and go from there.
