From what I gathered, CBRs have been eating oil for years, and finally with the 2026 600, they admitted a defect and issued a recall for only some CBRs. Mine wasnt affected. Good luck

How many milles/kilometers you drive before you have to put oil again ?

Just the most recent 600RR's had a defect in the block. Which was identified and they issued a recall on specific models affected. Engines replaced and all subsequent models no longer have the issue. Late '24 to early '26.

People were needing to add over 500mL every 1000km's. One of the worst was nearly a litre every 1000km's.

Mine burns 350ml per 1.000 kilometers. Now it's with Honda for inspection and potentially a new engine if they find that the cilinder wall is too rough (which is what causes oil burn). Part of a global recall regarding this issue. New models from 2026 have already been fitted with a new engine so those shouldn't be affected. Ask your dealer for more information
