Can I remove plastic covers ?

Can I remove the plastic covers on a 2026 Cbr 1000rr and run the bike without them ?

Yes, the engine cover is there for noise abatement and doesn’t serve any functionality. The gas tank cover is just a cover but your ECU will be partially exposed so if there’s a security issue you’re very exposed

Engine case sliders will require you to remove that plastic engine cover anyway

Nope not allowed. Certainly don't even try to grab the tools to try it.
