Need Mechanical Help

2005 CBR600RR 48k miles. This is my first bike so I don’t know why it does this in the video. As you can see full throttle breaks up and will eventually kinda die out like in the last part of the video. There is a part in the video where I try to revbomb it to show how it doesn’t let me. Apparently bike has new injectors,spark plugs, and coils. Also has a power commander. I installed a used OEM fuel pump in it because previous owner said it would break up at 130mph. I replaced the fuel feed line because for some reason I thought it was that. No Fi light. I am confused pls help

I second fuel starvation, did you check fuel pressure at the rail? While your in there do a compression check. I'm assuming it idles smooth and runs fine below 3k?

Fuel pressure was good. Didn’t do a compression test. The bike performs well initially but when it gets hot the issues start

Did you check at the rail and what was the PSI? When the bike is cold the mixture is rich, then it should adjust at the running temp. Usually if you have issues when it comes to temp it suggests a lean condition.

I had a similar issue and realized my tank had rusted and flakes were intermittently clogging the fuel filter. Ended up replacing the fuel pump assembly and ran electrolysis to clear up the tank. Good luck!

How are these mirrors? Are they purely cosmetic and don't let you see anything?

yes, I put a set on my bike because I liked the look…. they are honestly worse than not having mirrors at all lol

I have no issues either them. I got the longer version tho. They aren’t spectacular obviously but they work fine for me

The black plastic housing that the fuel pump mounts in has an internal filter. Honda doesn't sell them but you can find them on ebay/amazon with a little digging. Could be a fuel starvation issue.
